Alexander E. Abramov, vice president in IT Risk Management at JPMorgan

Alexander E. Abramov previously served as a National Practice Leader at Ernst & Young, where he was responsible for design of IT Compliance Programs for the pharmaceutical clients. Mr. Abramov also was an IT Audit Manager at Ernst & Young. Prior to E&Y, he was a Head of IT Application Development at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Mr. Abramov is a Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM.)
 

Mohd Noor Amin, chairman, International Multilateral Partnership Against Cyber-Terrorism

As Chairman of the International Multilateral Partnership Against Cyber-Terrorism (IMPACT), Mohd Noor Amin spearheads the first global partnership against cyber-threats. He holds a Masters in Commercial & Corporate Law from King's College London. Amin is also the legal adviser to the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition in Malaysia and had served as legal counsel to two Malaysian Prime Ministers during the last three general elections.
 

C. Warren Axelrod, executive advisor, Financial Services Technology Consortium, research director for financial services, US Cyber Consequences Unit

Warren Axelrod is leading FSTC's groundbreaking Software Assurance Initiative. Previously, he was business information security officer and chief privacy officer for the US Trust division of Bank of America. He won the 2009 Michael Cangemi Best Book/Best Article Award for an article on security metrics published in the ISACA Control Journal. His most recent book is Outsourcing Information Security (2004), and he is the coordinating editor of Enterprise Information Security and Privacy (2009). He is participating in the updating of the Cloud Security Alliance's Security Guidance.
 

Rich Baich, principal for security and privacy, Deloitte and Touche

Rich has led multi-national teams designing, implementing, measuring and advising organizations to effectively and efficiently balance risk, technology and data management decisions with data protection risks, regulatory compliance issues, privacy and security controls. Baich is former CISO at ChoicePoint where he held enterprise-wide responsibility for information and technology security. Previously, he held leadership positions within NSA, McAfee and the FBI. In 2005, Baich authored "Winning as a CISO," a security executive leadership guidebook.
 

Jennifer Bayuk, information security specialist, independent consultant

Jennifer Bayuk is an independent consultant on topics of information confidentiality, integrity, and availability. For 10 years, she managed information security at a major Wall Street firm. She was the chief information security officer for the last six years of that tenure. Jennifer was also a manager of information systems internal audit at a different financial industry firm; a Big 4 security principal consultant and auditor; and a security software engineer at AT&T Bell Laboratories. She is certified in Information Systems Security (CISA), Information Security Management (CISM), and IT Governance (CGEIT).
 

Harper Boucher, INTERPOL special representative to the United Nations

Harper Boucher assumed the position of INTERPOL special representative to the United Nations in June 2008. Prior to assuming this position, he spent a total of 36 years as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and rose to the rank of deputy commissioner, responsible for all elements of policing in the Atlantic region of Canada. Throughout his professional career, he has been actively involved in training and development. In his current capacity as INTERPOL special representative to the United Nations, Harper Boucher represents the INTERPOL Secretary-General and is mandated to promote cooperation between INTERPOL and the United Nations, particularly in the areas of counterterrorism as well as the prevention of transnational criminal activity.
 

Thomas Brennan, president NY OWASP Chapter and manager, WhiteHat Security

Tom Brennan brings to WhiteHat Security more than 15 years of hands-on experiences testing the effectiveness of an organization's ability to protect assets by attempting to circumvent, defeat or otherwise thwart that organization's internal and external security. He has served with the United States Marine Corps and has had INFOSEC clients in industries such as banking, entertainment, manufacturing and critical infrastructure.
 

Joyce Brocaglia, president and CEO, Alta Associates

Joyce Brocaglia heads the personnel search firm Alta Associates, which focuses on recruiting IT risk management, information security and privacy specialists. In September of 2003 Information Security Magazine honored Ms. Brocaglia with a "Women of Vision" award naming her one of the 25 most influential women in the information security industry. She is on the board of advisors for the ISSA and International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium.

Dave Cullinane, chief information security officer, eBay Inc.

Dave Cullinane is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for eBay Marketplaces and is also responsible for the security of the overall corporate infrastructure which includes Skype and PayPal. Prior to joining eBay in November 2006, he was the CISO for Washington Mutual. Mr. Cullinane is a Charter Member of the Alliance for Enterprise Security Risk Management (AESRM). He is the current Past International President of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA); and a Charter Member of the Global Council of Chief Security Officers.
 

Jeff Debrosse, North American research director, ESET

Jeff has more than 20 years' experience with information systems and has a strong background in network security, software engineering and embedded system design. Jeff has held leadership positions at Tarari, Inc. and as CTO of Synergic Communications Group integrating voice over IP (VoIP) gateways with carriers across the globe. Jeff also was with Geotek Communications where he was responsible for network design, security and deployment of a cellular carrier network.
 

Jerry Dixon, director of analysis, Team Cymru, and former director, NCSD, DHS

Jerry Dixon is focused on supporting Team Cymru customers and conducting cybersecurity research. Mr. Dixon was appointed DHS director of the National Cyber Security Division on January 7, 2006. Prior to being chosen to lead NCSD, Mr. Dixon served as the deputy director of operations for the U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT). Before joining NCSD, Dixon was the founding director of the Internal Revenue Service's Computer Security Incident Response Capability.
 

Karen Evans, administrator of e-government and IT, OMB

Karen Evans is the administrator of the Office of Electronic Government and Information Technology at the Office of Management and Budget. She oversees implementation of IT throughout the federal government including advising the director on the performance of IT investments, overseeing the development of enterprise architectures within and across agencies, directing the activities of the CIO Council, and overseeing the usage of the E-Government Fund to support interagency partnerships and innovation.
 

Louis Freeh, former director, FBI

Louis Freeh began his career in law enforcement as an FBI special agent based in New York City and at FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C. He also served as a judge for the Southern District of New York. He was recognized for work on the Oklahoma City bombing, Waco, the Unabomber, and the Centennial Olympic Park bombing. An expert on corporate governance and financial disclosure (including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act), his private-sector resume includes a stint as a general counsel with MBNA, a Fortune 200 company.

Roger Fye, vice president of IT, Dial Global

Prior to joining Dial Global Roger Fye was director of IT at Westwood One. He is responsible to provide a safe computing environment for staff and customers. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi with a Major in Radio, Television and Film, and holds an AAS in electronics from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
 

Jonathan Gossels, president and CEO, SystemExperts

Jonathan Gossels plays an active, hands-on role advising clients in compliance, technology strategies, managing complex programs, and building effective security organizations. Prior to founding SystemExperts, Jonathan built the Consulting Services operation for OpenVision Technologies (now Veritas). Before that, he was the Director of Business Development and Business Area Manager of Interoperability for the Open Software Foundation (OSF). In that role, Jonathan initiated and led the Distributed Computing Environment (DCE) project from its inception through its three major releases.

Maurice Hampton, information security program manager, GE Global Infrastructure Services

Maurice Hampton is a seasoned information technology professional with over 10 years of relevant experience in both internal and external roles. Maurice specializes in infrastructure security, providing key direction to infrastructure organizations in the selection, implementation and assessment of information security technologies. Royal Hansen, vice president, Information Risk, Goldman Sachs

Royal Hansen runs Goldman Sachs' Business Information Risk team. He has more than 10 years experience in technology and information security including five years at @stake where he ran risk consulting practices in New York, Boston and London in the financial services industry before Symantec acquired @stake. He holds a BA in computer science from Yale University and was a Fulbright Fellow at the United Arab Emirates University.
 

Shawn Henry, assistant director, FBI Cyber Division

Shawn Henry was named named to his post in September 2008. He began his career as a special agent with the FBI in 1989. In 1999, he was designated chief of the computer investigations unit within the National Infrastructure Protection Center at FBIHQ, with management responsibility for all criminal computer intrusion matters under investigation by the FBI. In 2006 he was selected as a member of the Senior Executive Service to serve as Chief of the Executive Staff to the Executive Assistant Director of the National Security Branch, and in 2007, was named Deputy Assistant Director of the FBI's Cyber Division, with program management responsibility for all FBI computer investigations worldwide.
 

Kevin Hyland, detective inspector, Scotland Yards Anti Corruption Command

As a senior investigating officer, Mr. Hyland has supervised a number of criminal investigations, including an international conspiracy to breach computer security in Europe and the U.S. Mr. Hyland heads two London-based teams of detectives responsible for investigating corruption and associated computer misuse.
 

John Iannarelli, supervisory special agent, FBI

Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) John G. Iannarelli entered on duty with the Bureau in April of 1995. In recognition of his investigative work, SSA Iannarelli has received the FBI Director's Distinguished Service Award. He is now at the Phoenix Division, where he currently serves as the supervisor of the Cyber squad, overseeing all Cyber investigations for the state of Arizona. Iannarelli is also an attorney admitted to the practice of law in California, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
 

Robert Israel, vice president and CIO, John C. Lincoln Health Network

Robert Israel has more than 16 years of diversified experience in network management and administration. He currently serves as a President of AzHIMSS. He is also a member of the Arizona Technology Council, Health Care Management and Information Systems Society, and a member of the American College of Health Care Executives. He was chair on the Arizona Hospital Association's HIPAA Security Task Force.
 

Joe Jarzombek, director for software assurance, National Cyber Security Division, U.S. Department of Homeland Security

Joe leads government interagency efforts with industry, academia, and standards organizations to shift the security paradigm away from patch management by addressing security needs in work force education and training, more comprehensive diagnostic capabilities, and security-enhanced development and acquisition practices. Joe served in the U.S. Air Force as a lieutenant colonel in program management.
 

Edward Jestin, chief information security officer, Lehman Brothers.

Edward Jestin, CISO for Lehman Brothers, is responsible for all aspects of information security on a global basis including: developing and implementing information security governance, performing security engineering and information risk management, and monitoring security events via a dedicated security operations team.
 

M. Eric Johnson, director, Tuck Glassmeyer/McNamee Center for Digital Strategies, and professor, Operations Management, Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College

Eric's teaching and research focuses on the impact of information technology on supply chain management. Before joining Tuck, Johnson taught at the Owen Graduate School of Management, Vanderbilt University. He was previously employed by Hewlett-Packard Co. and Systems Modeling Corp. He holds a B.S. in Engineering, B.S. in Economics, an M.S. in Engineering and Operations Research from Penn State University, and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Stanford University.
 

Paul Kurtz, executive director, SAFECode; partner, Good Harbor Consulting LLC

Paul Kurtz is a recognized expert on cybersecurity and served in senior positions on the White House's National Security and Homeland Security Councils under U.S. Presidents Clinton and Bush. Kurtz served as the founding executive director of the Cyber Security Industry Alliance. Prior to joining CSIA, Kurtz most recently was special assistant to the President and senior director for critical infrastructure protection on the White House's Homeland Security Council, where he was responsible for both physical and cyber security. Before joining HSC in 2003, Kurtz served on the White House's National Security Council as senior director for national security of the Office of Cyberspace Security and a member of the President's Critical Infrastructure Protection Board.
 

U.S. Congressman Jim Langevin

Congressman Jim Langevin is recognized as a national and party leader on homeland security. In 2003, Langevin was appointed to the House Committee on Homeland Security, and in January, 2007, was named Chairman of the Subcommittee on Emerging Threats, Cybersecurity and Science and Technology. This subcommittee oversees the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office at the Department of Homeland Security, as well as the DHS Science and Technology Directorate. He recently joined the House Permanent Select Committee.

Michael Landsittel is responsible for all aspects of the VNANNJ's data and communication networks. The VNANNJ's nurses and therapists currently use tablet PCs with patient's confidential health and financial information.
 

Troy Leach, technical director, PCI Security Standards Council

In his role with the PCI Council, Leach is developing and implementing a comprehensive Quality Assurance Program to promote consistency within the Council's QSA, ASV, PA-DSS, and PED programs. Prior to joining the Council, he led the incident response program at American Express. He has held positions in systems administration, network engineering, IT management, security assessment and forensic analytics.
 

Mark Lobel, principal, Pricewaterhouse Coopers

Mark is an internationally recognized security and IT controls professional with experience designing, benchmarking, and assessing organizational security strategies and technologies. Since 2005, Mark has been a member of the Security Management Committee for ISACA, with the focus of supporting ISACA's Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) membership. Mark is the PricewaterhouseCoopers relationship Partner for Carnegie Mellon University responsible for undergraduate and graduate recruiting.
 

Dan Lohrmann, chief security officer, state of Michigan

With the help of a mere 29 employees, Dan Lohrmann is responsible for safeguarding 19 state agencies, which equates to some 55,000 employees and their desktops, as well as the public at large. He has spent some 13 and a half years in the intelligence community, working much of that time with the National Security Agency (NSA). He graduated from Valparaiso University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
 

Edward Lowery, assistant special agent in charge, Criminal Investigative Division, U.S. Secret Service

Edward Lowery's areas of responsibility include supervision of all domestic and foreign Secret Service criminal investigations, as well as liaison with other government agencies and local law enforcement. He is responsible for all cyber investigations conducted by the Secret Service and responsible for agency compliance with all investigative policies and procedures.
 

U.S. Congressman Michael McCaul

Michael McCaul represents Texas' 10th District in the United States Congress. During the 110th Congress, Congressman McCaul served as ranking member of the Subcommittee on Emerging Threats, Cybersecurity, Science and Technology, focusing on making our nation safer and protecting America from terrorists. Prior to coming to Congress, Michael McCaul served as Chief of Counter Terrorism and National Security in the U.S. Attorney's office in Texas, and led the Joint Terrorism Task Force charged with detecting, deterring and preventing terrorist activity.
 

Charlie Miller, consultant, The Santa Fe Group/BITS Shared Assessments Program

Charlie Miller is an independent contractor providing consulting services in the areas of outsourcing, privacy, information security and business continuity. Charlie brings more that twenty years of progressive management and consulting experience in the financial services industry focusing on governance, risk and control. He is a recognized leader of multi-disciplinary, diverse, large scale, global, collaborative teams structured to address problems which achieve transformational change. Currently he is engaged by the Santa Fe Group supporting the Shared Assessment Program. Charlie was at Merrill Lynch for 15 years. Most recently he was the Director of Vendor Governance Group in the Office of Risk and Controls in New York City. His group was responsible for establishing and maintaining the global vendor governance program. While at Merrill Lynch, Charlie also held key positions in the design and implementation of major global initiatives including: Merrill's privacy program; acquisition and divestiture control review program; information leakage / protection program; and the program to replace general and sub-ledger financial applications. He led the Systems and Technology Audit Group in conducting global integrated audits and control reviews of technology, infrastructure and application systems which supported Merrill Lynch's diverse lines of business.
 

David Mortman, CSO-in-residence, Echelon One

David Mortman is responsible for Echelon One's research and analysis program. Formerly the CISO for Siebel Systems, David and his team were responsible for Siebel's worldwide IT security infrastructure, both internal and external. He also worked closely with Siebel's product groups and the company's physical security team and lead up Siebel's product security and privacy efforts. Previously, Mr. Mortman was Manager of IT Security at Network Associates, and before that, Mortman was a Security Engineer for Swiss Bank.
 

Lysa Myers, director of research, West Coast Labs

Lysa Myers' primary responsibilities are researching and analyzing technology and security threat trends, as well as reviewing and developing test methodologies. Prior to joining West Coast Labs Myers spent 10 years working in the Avert group at McAfee Security. During her time there, she provided training demonstrations to new researchers within McAfee along with other groups such as the Department of Defense, and McAfee Technical Support and Anti-Spyware teams.
 

Yonesy Nuñez, global manager, IT governance, security & compliance, Pall Corp.

Yonesy Nuñez manages internal and external information governance, security and compliance issues. He ensures that all systems have proactive security protections and meet industry standards whilst adhering to stringent information governance, security, and compliance program mandates. Nuñez has more than ten years experience in designing and implementing information technology governance, security, and compliance solutions. He is an active participant in the New York Metropolitan area chapters of ISSA, ISACA, and Infragard, a public and private sector collaboration with the FBI.
 

Robert Parham Jr., director, Information Security Governance, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield NJ

Robert Parham leads the development of the Information Security Governance (ISG) team where his mission is to enhance Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey's (Horizon BCBSNJ) enterprisewide information security program. His prior job positions include Chief of Network Security, the Air Force Personnel Center; Associate Director , Network Security at Bear Sterns; Director, Product Serve Development at AimNet Solutions; and Manager Incident Response and Forensics Security at TD Ameritrade. He is a CISSP and a CISM.
 

Rob Pate, CSO, Renesys

Prior to his position at Renesys, Rob Pate was vice president for cybersecurity and privacy at McNeil Technologies. Mr. Pate served as the deputy director of outreach and awareness at the National Cyber Security Division at the Department of Homeland Security as well as the director of focused operations with the United States Computer Incident Readiness Team. He founded the Government Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (GFIRST). In addition to his GFIRST activities, Mr. Pate led the US-CERT situational awareness program which was focused on providing the government with early indications and warnings as well as the Chief Information Security Officer's (CISO) Forum for the entire federal government.
 

Manoranjan (Mano) Paul, (ISC)2 Software Assurance Advisor

Manoranjan (Mano) Paul is the Software Assurance Advisor for (ISC)2. His information security and software assurance experience includes designing and developing security programs from compliance-to-coding, security in the SDLC, writing secure code, risk management, security strategy, and security awareness training and education. He founded and serves as the CEO & President of Express Certifications. He also founded SecuRisk Solutions, a company that specializes in security product development and consulting.
 

Steven Peltzman, CIO, The Museum of Modern Art

Steve Peltzman is responsible for all of MoMA's technology, including infrastructure and applications, websites, multimedia displays and exhibitions, and strategic technology partnerships. Peltzman spearheaded the technology design and implementation for MoMA's landmark $858M new building project, which opened in November of 2004 and featured a highly publicized technology partnership with IBM. Prior to his tenure at MoMA, Peltzman held the position of VP, Technology Operations for EarthWeb.com (now Dice.com).
 

Kimberly Peretti, senior counsel, Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section, U.S. Department of Justice

At the Department of Justice, Kimberly Peretti investigates and prosecutes computer crime and financial fraud cases, especially those involving large scale data breaches, identity theft, and online payment systems. She has been an adjunct law professor at the George Mason School of Law and a special assistant United States attorney at the U.S. Attorney's Office in Alexandria, Virginia. She is an officer and council member of the American Bar Association's Section of Science and Technology Law and was formerly co-chair Information Security Committee.
 

Patrick Peterson, vice president, Technology, IronPort Systems

Patrick Peterson has been active in spam, other messaging abuse issues and combating online crime since he joined IronPort Systems. Prior to joining IronPort Systems, Peterson held engineering and marketing management positions at Savi Technology. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University and holds patents related to antennas, radio frequency communications and email authentication techniques.
 

John Pironti, chief information risk strategist, CompuCom

John Pironti has designed and implemented enterprise wide electronic business solutions, information security programs, and threat and vulnerability management solutions for key customers in a range of industries, including financial services, government, hospitality, aerospace and information technology on a global scale. Before joining CompuCom, he was a principal enterprise solutions architect and principal security consultant for Unisys, Inc. Prior to that he held technical and management positions at AT&T and Genuity.
 

Retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Harry D. Raduege Jr., chairman, Deloitte Center for Network Innovation, Deloitte & Touche

General Raduege is the chairman of the Deloitte Center for Network Innovation. He had been the commander of the Joint Task Force for Global Network Operations, and deputy commander for Global Network Operations and Defense for the U.S. Strategic Command. In these roles, he was the first commander assigned responsibility for directing the operation and defense of the Global Information Grid. He also served as the Manager of the National Communications System and led U.S. efforts to prioritize the restoration of telecommunications throughout New York City and the Pentagon following the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Felix is an experienced professional with a wide range of experience in management consulting and risk advisory services focused primarily on financial services organizations. Carlos Recalde, senior vice president, Lehman Brothers

Carlos Recalde has led the creation of a global PMO, as well as a global product development life-cycle. He is currently responsible for enhancing the confidentiality of all information related to its hedge fund clients. He has over twenty years of diverse business experience in technology, marketing, and business strategy, including eight years in the packaged software business, ten years in information security and nineteen as the founder of four separate professional services companies.
 

Bob Russo, general manager, PCI Security Standards Council

Bob Russo works with representatives from American Express, Discover Financial, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide and Visa International to drive awareness and adoption of the PCI Data Security Standard. In addition, Mr. Russo oversees the PCI Security Standards Council's training, testing and certification programs for Qualified Security Assessors and Approved Scanning Vendors.
 

Marcus Sachs, executive director for government affairs, National Security Policy at Verizon Communications

Marcus Sachs is a member of the CSIS Commission on Cyber Security for the 44th Presidency and is Verizon's executive director for national security policy. He is a retired U.S. Army officer, a former presidential appointee to the staff of the National Security Council, and was part of the original cadre of the DHS National Cyber Security Division in 2003. Since 2003 he has volunteered as the director of the SANS Internet Storm Center. Prior to joining Verizon in 2007 he was the deputy director of SRI International's Computer Science Laboratory.
 

Ty Sagalow, president, AIG Product Development

Ty Sagalow is responsible for global development of insurance products and programs in the general insurance segment. Mr. Sagalow joined the AIG companies in 1983 and has had several executive and legal positions with the group, including chief operating officer of AIG eBusiness Risk Solutions and chief underwriting officer and general counsel of National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh. Sagalow sits on several boards, including the Financial Services Information and Sharing Center, and the Internet Security Alliance. He has chaired or co-chaired several congressional and executive branch task forces in the area of cyber-risk management.
 

Tony Sager, chief, Vulnerability Analysis and Operations Group, Information Assurance Directorate, National Security Agency

Tony Sager's VAO mission is to identify and analyze the vulnerability of information, technology, and operations for NSA customers, primarily within the Defense Department and the Intelligence Community. During his 30 year career at the NSA, Tony has held a number of technical and managerial positions in Computer/Network Security and software analysis. Howard Schmidt, president & CEO, Information Security Forum, Ltd.

Howard Schmidt has had a long distinguished career in defense, law enforcement and corporate security. He has served as vice president and CISO and chief security strategist for online auction giant eBay, and in the position of chief security strategist for the US-CERT Partners Program for the National Cyber Security Division under the Department of Homeland Security. He retired from the White House after 31 years of public service, and was appointed by President Bush as the vice chairman of the President's Critical Infrastructure Protection Board and as the special adviser for cyberspace security for the White House in December 2001. He assumed the role as the chair in January 2003 until his retirement in May 2003.
 

Phyllis A. Schneck, Ph.D., founding chairman and chairman emeritus, InfraGard National Members Alliance; vice president, Cyber Intelligence and Critical Infrastructure Protection, McAfee, Inc.

Dr. Schneck is responsible for the design and applications of Secure Computing's Internet reputation intelligence, strategic thought leadership around technology and policy in the security and infrastructure protection space, and management of the company's intellectual property portfolio. She maintains a seat on the Advisory Board of the Johns Hopkins University Department of Computer Science, served on the Steering Committee for the Sam Nunn Information Security Forum as well as a term on the Georgia Tech Advisory Board.
 

Daniel Schutzer, Financial Services Technology Consortium executive director

Daniel Schutzer is a fellow at the New York Academy of Sciences, and serves on the BITS Advisory Council and ANSI X9 Board member. Previously he was a Director and Senior Vice President at Citigroup, a Technical Director for Naval Intelligence, and Head of Systems for the New York Metropolitan Region at Univac. He has authored more than 65 publications and seven books.
 

Ari Schwartz, vice president and chief operating officer, Center for Democracy and Technology

Ari Schwartz's work focuses on increasing individual control over personal and public information. Schwartz leads the Anti-Spyware Coalition, anti-spyware software companies, academics, and public interest groups dedicated to defeating spyware. In 2006, Schwartz won the RSA award for Excellence in Public Policy for his work building the ASC and other efforts against spyware. Schwartz serves as a member of the Department of Commerce National Institute of Standards and Technology Information Security and Privacy Advisory Board and the State of Ohio Chief Privacy Officer Advisory Committee.
 

Adrian Seccombe, CISO and senior enterprise information architect, Eli Lilly and Company, and Jericho Forum board member

Adrian Seccombe has experience in various IT, strategy and quality management positions in the U.K., France and the USA. Originally an electronic engineer with Ferranti Military Systems Division, Adrian moved to ITT, before joining Eli Lilly. On his return to the U.K., he took responsibility for the Lilly IT infrastructure of EMEA, Asia-Pacific. His current role includes CISO leadership responsibilities and integrating Information quality management into Lilly's information architecture processes. He serves on the Industrial Advisory Board of the University of Surrey Computing Department and is a founder and board member of the Jericho Forum.
 

Alexander Seger, head of Economic Crime Division, directorate general of Human Rights and Legal Affairs, Council of Europe

Alexander Seger has been with the Council of Europe (Strasbourg, France) since 1999. He is currently the head of the Economic Crime Division and responsible for the Council of Europe's cooperation programs against corruption, money laundering, trafficking in human beings and cybercrime. From 1989 to 1998 he was with what now is the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Vienna, Laos and Pakistan and a consultant for German Technical Cooperation in drug control matters.

Dor Skuler leads a line of business focused on improving endpoint security and mobility. Prior to this role, Dor was General Manager in Bell Labs, Alcatel-Lucent Ventures, where he managed an internal venture. Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent, Mr. Skuler served as vice president of business development and marketing at Safend, an endpoint security company. Previously, he founded and served as President of Zing Interactive Media, a startup company in the field of mobile interactive media. Mr. Skuler also served as an officer the Intelligence Corps of the Israel Defense Force.

Paul Simmonds is a co-founder and board member of the Jericho Forum. He joined AstraZeneca in July 2008 following a six years as the CISO of ICI. He was awarded "Chief Security Officer of the Year" at the 2005 SC Magazine European Awards and is listed in both the 2004 & 2005 global top 50 most powerful people in networking, by the US publication Network World. In addition to the Jericho Forum, Paul Simmonds sits on the advisory board of a number of leading-edge computing companies, as well as the Executive Advisory Board of ISSA UK.

Craig Spiezle, director, Windows Security & Privacy Product Management, Microsoft

Craig Spiezle is responsible for Microsoft's Internet security and privacy product strategies. His role includes product planning and product management. In addition Spiezle oversees the company's involvement with industry partners, associations, standard organizations, interactive marketing, law enforcement and governmental agencies. Spiezle is on the steering committee of the Anti-Phishing Working Group, and boards of SC Magazine, Merchant Risk Council, CA/B Forum and Chairman of the Authentication and Online Trust Alliance.

Stan Waddell is the Chief Information Security Officer for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Mr. Waddell coordinates all information security related activities for the Medical Center including the university and its two hospitals, Zale and St. Paul University hospital. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds a graduate certificate in information assurance from Nova Southeastern University, a designated National Center of Academic Excellence in information assurance.
 

Neil Warner, chief information security officer, Go Daddy

Neil is responsible for the Go Daddy's IT Security, Business Continuity, SSL Registration Authority, Spam/Abuse, IT Audit, Product Quality Assurance and IT Operation organizations. Before joining Go Daddy, Neil served as Director of Technology/Security for NDC Health, a health care information provider. Prior to that, Neil supervised computer operations and administration at Motorola Computer Group. Neil is a Certified Information System Security Professional and a Certified Business Continuity Professional.
 

Steve Wernikoff, staff attorney, Federal Trade Commission

Since joining the FTC in 2000, Steve Wernikoff has specialized in internet-related consumer protection matters and has served as lead counsel in FTC civil prosecutions involving spam email, domain name fraud, deceptive online advertising, credit card fraud, online privacy issues and Internet auction fraud. He has served on the FTC's Internet Committee and Spam and Spyware Task Force, and he has conducted Internet investigation law enforcement training at domestic and international conferences. Steve Wernikoff is an adjunct faculty member of Northwestern University School of Law and John Marshall Law School's Center for Information Technology and Privacy Law.

Bob West has had 25 years of experience in information security, physical security, computer network design, and implementation and management.
