Events

SC World Congress
SC Magazine will host its second annual SC World Congress Enterprise Data Security Conference and Expo in New York City to bring together the top minds in the IT security industry once again. SC World Congress will take place on October 13-14, 2009 at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers, and will examine topics ranging from data theft and compliance to establishing partnerships between government and the private sector.

Building on the success of the inaugural event, SC World Congress 2009 will feature four keynote presentations examining timely topics such as how the Obama Cyber Administration is looking at the intersection of the private and public sectors, and a CISO and CFO panel on information security recession management.

During the two conference days, attendees will have the opportunity to choose from numerous sessions under four tracks: Policy and Management; Emerging Threats and Risk Planning; Editor's Choice; and a brand new Technical track that will offer a deeper dive on the technical aspects of threats and vulnerabilities as well as relevant solutions. Each track will address a broad range of issues, from security awareness to critical infrastructure protection to SCADA attacks to cyber warfare.
